Public Deliverables

D1.1 Current available circular fertilising practices

The deliverable is a result of our work on mapping of technologies, techniques and practices for producing alternative fertilising products from secondary raw materials in Europe and beyond. The report presents the scope of the work, the implementation methodology, the implemented action plan, an introduction to the issue of technologies, techniques, and practices to produce alternative fertiliser products, an initial assessment of the collected data, required definitions, and the abbreviations used. The core part of the deliverable is a database containing 184 original MS Excel templates with individual Technologies/Techniques and Practices, and one MS Excel file aggregating the entire data set, which are available in the Zenodo repository, and on the FERTITEC website.

D1.3 Market Dynamics and Regulatory Analysis of Alternative Fertilisers

Deliverable D1.3 “Market dynamics and regulatory analysis of alternative fertilisers” reports the results of Task 1.4 “Market dynamics & regulatory analysis of alternative fertilising products” within the EU-funded FERTITEC project. The FERTITEC project aims to propose a comprehensive solution for waste recycling and the sustainable fertiliser production from secondary raw materials. This report provides an in-depth analysis of the market dynamics along with the regulatory framework for broader adoption of alternative fertilising (AF) products. Moreover, the analysis incorporates opinions and experiences from over one hundred relevant market and policy actors, gathered through a dedicated survey conducted by CETENMA.

D1.4 Gaps and Challenges of Available Recovering Techniques

The deliverable D1.4 “Gaps and challenges of available recovering and recycling techniques” is the result of the implementation of task T1.5 “Assessing gaps and challenges of techniques for recovering/recycling fertilizing products from secondary raw materials”. The D1.4 report presents the scope of task T1.5 and describes in detail the methodological framework adopted for its implementation, as well as the action plan that guided its execution. It introduces the main issues associated with existing gaps and challenges that limit the large-scale uptake of techniques for the recovery and recycling of fertilizing products from SRMs. The report includes an assessment of the data collected, a set of relevant definitions and abbreviations, and a last chapter with a SWOT analysis of the data and the key outcomes and conclusions. The report is complemented by the annex, with the content of a dedicated online form used for fast and reliable data collection during the Co-creating Workshop with Expert Panel (EP).
