Depending on the nature of the challenge and our assignment, we take on a variety of roles in the innovation system, and develop new ones as and when required.
We are owned by the Swedish State and work in collaboration with and on behalf of the private and public sectors and academia. Together, we develop services, products, technologies, processes and materials that contribute to a sustainable future and a competitive Swedish business community.
IUNG – Institute of Soil Sciences and Plant Cultivation
The Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation - State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB), is the main national agricultural research-development centre in Poland, conducting agricultural studies under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The broad range of activities comprise crop production, soil science and fertilisation, as well as recognition and protection of agricultural areas against various forms of degradation. The main areas of IUNG’s research are as follows: soil science and soil cartography; agro-meteorological research, fertilization and fertilizer management, soil tillage and crop rotation management, crop cultivation, fodder crops, energy crops, bio-economy, organization and economics of crop production, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, evaluation of the effects of the CAP, regulation of weed infestation of agricultural crops, selected issues from agricultural microbiology and biochemistry (phytochemistry).

The Eastern African Farmers Federation (EAFF) is a non-political, non-profit, and democratic apex organization representing smallholder farmers across Eastern Africa.
