FERTITEC at the Polish Harvest Festival

On 13 September 2026, representatives of the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute (IUNG PIB) took part in the Polish Harvest Festival in Spała.

During the event, MSc Aleksandra Bibow from the Department of Phytochemistry, as a member of the Institute’s team, additionally represented the FERTITEC project. The presented FERTITEC materials highlighted how the project supports the development of innovative technologies for recycling nutrient rich biomass into safe fertilizers and provides guidance for authorities to further reduce nutrient losses in the future.

The Institute’s stand attracted considerable interest from visitors and served as a place for numerous meetings, discussions, and questions regarding IUNG PIB’s research activities and solutions supporting modern, sustainable agriculture. Participation in the Harvest Festival provided an excellent opportunity to speak directly with farmers, advisors, and representatives of agricultural institutions, as well as to disseminate scientific knowledge and present the Institute’s achievements.
