Fertitec at the Baltic Sea Archipelagos Symposium

The FERTITEC project was presented at the Baltic Sea Archipelagos Symposium, held on 27–28 April 2026 in Turku, Finland, where we also had a stand for networking and discussions.

At the symposium, researchers, policymakers, and representatives from the business sector came together to discuss the better future of the Archipelago Sea, part of the Baltic Sea. To reduce agricultural nutrient leaching, manure and other side streams need to be processed to make nutrients more transportable and to rebalance regional surpluses—and this is exactly the challenge FERTITEC is working to address.

The symposium provided an excellent platform to share our work, exchange ideas, and connect with stakeholders interested in sustainable solutions for the Baltic Sea region.
